Fleet maintenance, without the fight

A simple shop program for fleets that outgrew Excel — and got burned by everything else.

UnitReady is built by people who ran shops on spreadsheets and then lived through the “enterprise” systems that were supposed to replace them. We kept the parts that matter: the job, the unit, the parts, the hours. We left the rest.

UnitReady

One login for office and technicians. Each company only sees its own yards, people, and units.

We’ve been in that shop

Most fleet software is written by people who never closed a work order at 6 p.m. with a driver waiting on the unit. We did. We also kept the Excel book alive longer than we should have, because the next system was worse.

The Excel shop book

Tabs for work orders, a parts sheet that never matches the shelf, and a unit list nobody trusts. It worked until the fleet grew — then it became tribal knowledge in a file that one person owns.

The oversized fleet system

We sat through the demos. Modules for everything, a week of training, and techs still writing jobs on paper because the screen was too slow in the bay.

What the shop actually needed

Open a job, assign a tech, issue parts, close it, and see what that unit has cost. Same story at every yard — without a second software career.

What UnitReady actually does

Work orders, units, parts, inspections, DVIRs, schedule, and cost reports — in one place a tech will open on a phone in the yard.

Work orders

Open, assign, wrench, complete. Lights, tires, DOT, VILK — on the job, not in another app.

Units & yards

Each company keeps its own fleet. Managers get that yard’s alerts, not a company-wide inbox dump.

Parts & POs

Issue from the shelf, reorder when you’re short, see when a unit is eating the budget.

DVIR loop

Defects from Motive or Samsara become shop work. Completing the job marks them repaired on the ELD.

Schedule vs clock

Publish the month. Techs see their days. Reports show scheduled hours against time on the clock.

Cost trends

Which truck is the money pit, which repairs keep coming back — charts, not another spreadsheet.

See it in action

Real screens from UnitReady and O/OReady. Every screenshot and PDF here comes from our demo company, not a customer.

Work orders

Every job in one list: status, priority, unit, assignee and who still needs to sign off.

Tell us about the fleet. We’ll tell you if we’re a fit.
